About Us

Behind the Lens

TJ Marin Photography is a Puerto Rico–based studio focused on portrait and automotive photography.

My work centers on creating thoughtful, intentional images that feel authentic to the people and stories behind them. Whether working with individuals or creative projects, each session is approached with care, professionalism, and respect for the client’s vision.

The goal is simple: to create images that feel natural, confident, and true to who you are — without unnecessary pressure or pretense.

We're also available for select events such as weddings or private celebrations upon request.

The Studio & The Signature

TJ Marin Photography operates with two distinct marks.

The formal TJM Monogram represents the studio's foundation and professional presence. Einar, the mechanical raven, serves as the artistic seal—a personal signature reserved for the art itself.

Thought and Memory

Ravens are the ultimate observers: highly intelligent, deeply social, yet capable of traveling alone. In Norse mythology, Odin sent two ravens into the world each dawn to gather knowledge—Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory). My primary and backup cameras carry those exact names. Every time the shutter clicks, it is an act of sending Thought and Memory out to observe the world.

The Modern Skald

Einar—a name translating to "he who stands alone"—is designed with an aperture mechanism for an eye and mechanical shutter blades for feathers. He is a nod to the ancient Skalds, the warrior-poets who preserved history through storytelling. He is the silent mascot of the studio's core philosophy.

Ultimately, the gear and the lore serve a single purpose: taking pictures with thought and memory, and capturing moments that tell a timeless story.
